There are many signs to look out for that would indicate your teeth are unhealthy. The general warning signs are discoloured or bleeding gums, chipped or cracked teeth, discoloured teeth, bad breath and tooth or jaw pain. If you are experiencing any of these symptoms, then we highly recommend you arrange an appointment with us on (07) 3869 4555.

Ideally you need to visit the dentist at least once every 6 months. By regularly visiting the dentist this will allow us the opportunity to detect early signs of oral disease.

When you visit the dentist for your check up you will be seen by one of our dentists. The dentist will conduct an initial oral exam of your gums and teeth, check for signs of oral cancer, document any changes in your overall oral health, clean and polish your teeth, talk to you about looking after for your teeth and gums, and answer any questions you might have.

Depending on the condition of your teeth you will require different dental services. This may change the cost of your appointment if further treatment or x-rays are required. At Anthony Spink Dental Suite we understand that each mouth is unique and so too are our patients’ needs. We will always discuss cost with you at the time of your appointment.

Cosmetic dentistry relates to addressing the overall appearance and aesthetics of the teeth. While general dentistry focuses on preventing oral diseases, cosmetic dentistry focuses on improving the appearance of your teeth and smile.

By using a combination of different cosmetic dental treatments, we can work to completely makeover your smile. Depending on your unique smile and the complexity of the case, these treatments can include tooth whiteningporcelain veneersdental implants, crowns and bridges.

A dental implant is a titanium screw that is designed to act as an anchor to permanently replace missing teeth. Dental implants restore the full functionality and appearance of a natural looking tooth as it is surgically placed into the jawbone and once healed; the implant effectively mimics the feel, form and function of a natural tooth.

Teeth whitening is a simple cosmetic dental procedure designed to remove stains to whiten and brighten your smile. You can dramatically whiten your teeth 6 to 8 shades lighter within 1 hour! At Anthony Spink Dental Suite we will also give you great advice on how to maintain your new beautiful and rejuvenated smile so it lasts.

A dental crown is best described as a cap that covers and provides increased protection of the natural tooth beneath it. It is often the best solution to replace large, worn fillings, to repair a tooth that has cracked or has a very large cavity, or for a tooth that has undergone root canal treatment.
